Training, Certification & History
- Started in the oil & gas industries since 1990 -1998 as a NDT & Welding Inspector with Solus Oceaneering (M). Being exposed to various industries such as power generation, oil & gas, steel structures, shipbuilding ,pipeline installation ,fabrication of top sides & jackets for various platforms for Petronas , Exxon Mobil & Shell.
- In 1999-2002 joined TWI Training & Certification(SEA) as a NDT/Welding Trainer conducting various NDT methods which includes Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant(Visible & Fluorescent), Ultrasonic , Visual Testing.
- In 2003 obtained ASNT/ACCP/CSWIP Lev 3 from SANDT (School of Applied Non Destructive Testing-Abington,Cambridge-UK.
- Appointed as the NDT Training & Examination Manager for TWI-South East Asia region in 2004-2010.Selected as CSWIP examiner for Asia Region in 2005 for Welding & NDT Inspection certification for Lev 1, 2 & 3
- Appointed as a NDT consultant for TWI Engineering –SEA & Panel for API courses eligibility criteria –interview-Puspatri
- In 2010 obtained a Lead Auditor certification by IRCA( Internationl Register of Certified Auditors)
- 2010-2011 works for SapuraAcergySdnBhd as Project Quality Engineer for FPS Mooring-GemusutKakap-SHELL pipeline deep sea installation
- Currently works as a freelance NDT consultant & CSWIP Examiner for TWI & various NDT companies in Malaysia.
- Appointed Lev 3 Consultant for AKER SOLUTION , project involved in KANOWIT SUBSEA –PETRONAS CARIGALI
- Appointed Lev 3 Consultant for FMC Technologies , project involved in Subsea unit for tubing –GWF(Great Western Flank-Australia)
- 2014-Appointed as panel for Board Of Studies by University Kuala Lumpur in Bachelor Of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Steel Fabrication-2015
- 2010-2014-Appointed Lev 3 Consultant for DNV-GL , project involved in Petronas Sabah Pipeline –PETRONAS CARIGALI,involved in the explosion of pipeline in LAWAS investigation , to conduct 100% re checks on radiographs for pipeline -502 km in length.
- 2010-2015-Appointed Lev 3 Consultant for SapuraKencana Petroleum projects involved in Lumut for various clients, Bechtel, Petronas , HESS,Nippon ,ect
- 2010-2015-Conduct training & certification for AIRFOIL SERVICES in FPI,UTM, ET,RTR(Fluoroscopy) in accordance with EN4179 , Approval by Lufthansa & MTU Maintainance-Germany

Senior NDT Lev 3 lecture/ Senior NDT Engineer
Having more than 20 plus years Experience in Welding Inspection, NDT Inspection and Level III Services, Engineering Graduate with additional Diploma in Welding Technology, Senior Welding Inspector (TWI, UK), ASNT Level III and PCN Certificate holder. Hands on Experience in Ship, Building, Oil & Gas, Petro Chemicals, Refinery, Fertilizer, Boiler Heat Exchangers, ASME U Stamp, R Stamp NDT Consultancy.
Expertness in:
- NDT Procedure Writing and Demonstration (Conventional NDT, PAUT and TOFT)
- Level II Training and Mockup Exam
- Ultrasonic Testing Cross Check
- Third Party Inspection Welding, API Codes
- Surveillance Inspection and Expediting
Well versed in International Codes and Standards ASME, AWS, ABS, DNV, BSEN, ISO etc.
Mr. Shahrul Imraan
HR Director
Holds a Degree in Physics (Major) & HR Management (Minor) from local university and certified for UT, MT & PT certification with almost 15 years of experience in oil & gas industries. Started career with Cameron PTE LTD (Singapore) as NDT Specialist and worked on several projects for five years and manage Manpower supply of technical personnel for commissioning and start-up for oil & gas facilities.
He also manages to ensure the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized. Currently trains NDT methods for personal in various NDT methods involved training and certification.
