VISUAL TESTING LEVEL I
Course Objectives
- to outline the factors influencing visual inspection
- to explain the place of visual inspection in relation to NDT
- to enable candidates to utilize a range of visual inspection equipment
- to meet syllabus requirements for SNT-TC-1A-2020-ASNT Level II
- to carry out NDT inspection independently for major clients involved in heavy industries
RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION (WELDS)
Course Objectives
- to list radiographic techniques, calculation of UG & Sensitivity
- to state origins of defects/ discontinuities
- to recognize and differentiate between film artifacts and defect indications to interpret radiographs
- to meet the syllabus as per SNT-TC-1A-2020-ASNT Level II
- to carry out NDT inspection independently for major clients involved in heavy industries
PENETRANT TESTING LEVEL I & II
Course Objectives
- to explain the basic principles of penetrant inspection methods
- to carry out penetrant inspection using various type of penetrants
- to write clear and concise inspection instructions and test reports
- to meet syllabus requirements as per SNT-TC-1A-2020-ASNT Level I, II & III
- to carry out NDT inspection independently for major clients involved in heavy industries
ULTRASONIC TESTING (WELDS) LEVEL I & II
Course Objectives
- to explain the theoretical background of the techniques
- to calibrate ultrasonic equipment
- to measure the thickness of steel plates and determine levels of attenuation
- to locate and evaluate laminations
- to select the correct type of probe to examine welded butt joints in steel plate and aerospace components/ structures
- to report on the location and size of detects in typical welded butt joints
- to interpret code requirement
- to meet the syllabus requirements for SNT-TC-1A-2020-ASNT Level I, II & III
- to carry out NDT inspection independently for major clients involved in heavy industries
ULTRASONIC THICKNESS MEASUREMENT (UTM) LEVEL II
Course Objectives

MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING LEVEL I & II

- to detect cracks, surface and near-surface, in aircraft components, structures, tubes and welds
- to detect corrosion and thinning in non-magnetic materials
- to grade and sort materials on the basis of conductivity and permeability
- to write clear and concise inspection instructions and test reports
- to meet the syllabus requirements of SNT-TC-1A
EDDY CURRENT TESTING-WELDS LEVEL I / II
Course Objectives
